Eagle Island is privately owned and inhabited by guests with reservations as well as summer residents.

This means that there is no public access to its beaches, roads, walking paths, lighthouse, schoolhouse etc.

Use the form on our Contact Us page to request a reservation. Once you have obtained the golden ticket and you find yourself on the shores of this beautiful isle, there are a few rules and requests that we have in place to help keep our island healthy and safe.

  • Dogs must be on-leash at all times while outside.
  • Smoking is permitted outside and away from our buildings. If you smoke, please be super careful about not starting a fire with ashes and clean up your butts.
  • Fires are permitted on the shore only when they are below the high tide mark and with the land owners permission.
  • Take all garbage with you when you leave the island. No garbage left in the woods, on beaches or shoved in the outhouses, pretty please.
  • Help us maintain our working waterfront and refrain from picnicking or leaving boats tied up on the float or wharf.  We would be happy to tell you about our favorite picnic spots or the best options for mooring a boat.

Eagle Island is such a special place to us all and we work hard to keep her as healthy and happy as we can. Together we can look forward to another 200 years of beautiful island adventures.  Thanks in advance for your support.
